1.3.4 Residential Unit Yard Waste <br />A. The Contractor will provide curbside collection service for the collection of yard waste and tree <br />trimmings (bundled and tied cut in 4 foot lengths not exceeding 35 pounds per bundle) from <br />each residential unit two times per month on the same day as the regular scheduled solid waste <br />collection. The Contractor will provide the City and all residential customers with a schedule <br />of collection dates. <br />B. Collection will be on the basis of advance customer calls to the City. <br />C. The Contractor will make available one day per month for residential customers to transport <br />and deposit yard waste at the Contractor's landfill facility for no additional fee. Yard waste <br />will be limited to 5 cubic yards per customer per month and will exclude commercial generated <br />yard waste. The Contractor will verify eligible customers by utility bill or other means <br />acceptable to the City. The Contractor may refuse to accept any yard waste contaminated with <br />other solid waste debris, in which case they will notify the City of reasons for rejection. <br />D. The cost for this service will be included in the cost per month per residential unit for basic <br />residential service. <br />1.3.5 City Services and Special Events <br />A. The Contractor will provide solid waste collection services to all City buildings, special events, <br />downtown containers, and the household hazardous waste facility. The following are lists of current City <br />uses to be served; the City reserves the right to revise locations, container sizes and frequencies: <br />Facili : Container number, size Frequency <br />Public Works 8 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Library 1 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Parks and Recreation 1 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Central Fire Station 1 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />3 Fire substations 1- 96 gal twice per week <br />Police Department 2 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Police Pistol Range 1 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Firing Range 1 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Electric Utility 1 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Code Enforcement 2 - 96gal twice per week <br />Activity Center 2 - 10 cubic yard three times per week <br />Airport 1 - 10 cubic yard twice per week <br />Animal Shelter 1 - 4 cubic yard six times per week <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant 1 - 8 cubic yard once per week <br />Containment area on River Road 2 - 40 cubic yard once per week <br />Annual Parks: <br />Softball Fields 2 - 8 cubic yard twice per week <br />Soccer Fields 2 - 8 cubic yard twice per week <br />Little League Fields 2 - 8 cubic yard twice per week
