Department, Street Division in the estimated amount of $500,000.00; authorizing the City • <br />Purchasing Manager to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the <br />City, and declaring an effective date. <br />22. Consider adoption of Resolution 2008-146R, ratifying the submission of a grant <br />application to the Lower Colorado River Authority for community development grant <br />funding for the purchase of safety equipment for the City's park rangers; authorizing the <br />City Manager to act on the city's behalf with regard to the submission of this grant <br />application and the execution of any agreement related to this grant; and declaring an <br />effective date. <br />23. Consider waiver of development fees for the Master's School, in an amount not to <br />exceed $4,691.28. <br />Item 16 was removed from the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Bose and a second by Councilmember <br />Guerrero, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmembers <br />Jones, Guerrero and Porterfield abstaining from item 19, to approve the Consent Agenda, less <br />item 16. The motion carried. <br />(16) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted four (4) for and three (3) opposed, with <br /> <br />Councilmembers Thomaides, Jones and Bose voting against, to approve Resolution 2008-140R, • <br />as previously captioned. The motion carried. <br />END OF CONSENT AGENDA <br />24. Public Hearing to receive comment for and against an amendment to the official zoning <br />map of the City to ratify the adoption of the Blanco River Village Planned Development <br />District overlay for a 103.788 acre, more or less, tract of property, amend the Planned <br />Development District by changing the zoning for the Unit Series B from "SF4.5" Single <br />Family Residential District to "MF-12" Multi-family District and approving modified <br />development standards for Unit Series A and Unit Series B; and consider adoption of <br />Ordinance 2008-49. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:26 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. <br />There being no comments, Mayor Narvaiz closed the Public Hearing at 8:27 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by Councilmember <br />Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2008- <br />49, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />25.
