• more or less, tract of property located at 401 Fredericksburg, 210-212 Pat Garrison, 408 <br />Comanche and 418 Comanche with base zoning of Multi-family Residential; approving <br />development standards for the Vintage San Marcos PDD; and consider adoption of <br />Ordinance 2008-50. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. <br />There being no comments, Mayor Narvaiz closed the Public Hearing at 8:30 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Thomaides and a second by <br />Councilmember Guerrero, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve <br />Ordinance 2008-50, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by Councilmember <br />Bose, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Jones <br />abstaining, to reconsider Ordinance 2008-50, as previously captioned. The motion carried. <br />26. Public Hearing to receive comment for and against increasing the rate for once per <br />week collection of residential solid waste and recyclable materials from $13.98 per month <br />to $15.75 per month effective upon the commencement of single stream residential <br />recycling by Texas Disposal Systems; including procedural provisions, and providing an <br />effective date; and consider ordinance on the second of three readings. <br />• Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:47 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. <br />There being no comments, Mayor Narvaiz closed the Public Hearing at 8:47 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Couch and a second by Councilmember <br />Bose, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the ordinance on the <br />second of three readings. The motion carried unanimously. <br />27. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2008-41, adopted October 6, 2008, amending the future <br />land use may from "I" Industrial, to "C" Commercial for a 202 acre, more or less piece of <br />land, and from "I' Industrial to "OS" Open Space for a 57.6 acre, more or less piece of <br />land both pieces being out of the Nathaniel Hubbard Survey Abstract 230 and the Cyrus <br />Wickson Survey Abstract 474; and amending the official zoning may of the City to <br />establish the zoning for those tracts of land as a "PDD" Planned Development District with <br />base zoning of "GC" General Commercial District (63.2 acres, more or less, and 12.6 acres, <br />more or less), "CC" Community Commercial District (78 acres, more or less, and 48.2 <br />acres, more or less), and "P" Public District, 57.5 acres, more or less; approving a land use <br />plan and development standards for the McCarty Commons PDD. <br />There was no reconsideration. <br />28. Consider adoption of Resolution 2008-147R, rescinding the contingent award of bid to <br />Rodman LLC for the FM 3407 Wonder World Drive Extension from RM 12 to Stagecoach <br />PDFConvert.3561.1.RM102108 Minutes.doc <br />Page 5 of 8
