Consider adoption of Resolution 2008-164R, approving an interlocal agreement . between the City and the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District for the provision of school resource officers; authorizing the City Manager to execute this agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. 17. Consider adoption of Resolution 2008-165R, approving the terms and conditions of an Interlocal Agreement between the City of San Marcos, and Hays County to facilitate the expenditure of funds from a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Land and Water Conservation Grant for the Spring Lake Park Preserve; authorizing the City Manager to execute this agreement on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. 18. Consider adoption of Resolution 2008-166R, awarding a construction contract to Stokes Construction Company for the Central Fire Station Proiect in the amount of $4,552,962.00; authorizing the City Manager to execute the contract documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. 19. Consider re-scheduling the January 20, 2009 Regular Meeting to January 22, 2009. Item 18 was removed from the Consent Agenda. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the Consent Agenda, less Item 18. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against an amendment to the development standards for a single lot within the Stonecreek Crossing Subdivision; and consider adoption of Ordinance 2008-59. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008.
