C. Concrete: <br />The Consultant will: <br />1) Sample, cast, cure, and test one (1) set of four (4) concrete compressive strength <br />cylinders for every 100 cubic yards of structural concrete placed, or as required by the <br />City specifications. One (1) cylinder will be tested at seven (7) days, two (2) cylinders <br />will be tested at 28 days and one (1) cylinder will be held for 56 day testing if required. <br />2) Perform one (1) slump test per 100 cubic yards of structural concrete placed. <br />3) Monitor structural concrete placements as required by the specifications including: <br />review batch tickets, report (not control) water added on site, take concrete temperature, <br />test concrete for slump, and cast concrete cylinders. <br />A Concrete Reinforcing Steel: <br />The Consultant will: <br />1) Perform engineering review of concrete reinforcing steel specifications, foundation plan, <br />and concrete reinforcing details. <br />2) Perform visual inspection of concrete reinforcing steel placement, post tension tendon <br />placement, grade beam trenches, and footings prior to concrete placement. <br />E. Structural Masonry: <br />The Consultant will: <br />1) Sample, mold, cure, and test one (1) set of three (3) grout cylinders and three (3) mortar <br />cubes per 5,000 square feet of structural masonry wall erected. <br />F. Asphaltic Concrete: <br />The Consultant will: <br />1) Test one (1) sample of asphalt for every 500 tons placed, or as required by the City for <br />each day's placement for extraction, gradation, bitumen content, and stability. <br />2) Take one (1) asphalt core for every 500 tons of asphaltic concrete placed. Cores shall be <br />used to verify thickness and in-place density for asphalt. <br />G. Structural Steel: <br />The Consultant will:
