AUTHORIZATION OF CHANGE IN SERVICES <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />PROJECT: <br />CONSULTANT: <br />AUTHORIZATION NO,: <br />ORIGINAL CONTRACT DATE: <br />AUTHORIZATION DATE: <br />Quail Run Waterline Phase 2 <br />Byrn & Associates, Inc. <br />- 1 - <br />June 24 2008 <br />August 17 2010 <br />WORK TO BE ADDED TO OR DELETED FROM SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />At the request of the City, Byrn & Associates, Inc (BAI) revised the construction plans for the <br />proposed waterline to show an easement along Hunter Road that was twenty feet wide for the <br />portion of Hunter Road that contained a 10 foot wide road easement. The waterline easement <br />then widened to thirty feet for the remainder of the properties effected by the waterline. The <br />waterline was redesigned by BAI and plans were being finalized when, in the course of trying to <br />secure an easement, a sanitary sewer leaching bed was found to impact the new design. With <br />the cooperation of the landowner, the limits of the leaching bed were determined and the <br />waterline was again moved to avoid the leaching bed. <br />In addition, upon review by the City water department, it was determined that additional <br />waterlines, other than those marked by "one- call ", existed in the area.
