VERAMENDI SURVEY NO. 2 ABSTRACT 17, BEING THE REMAINING <br />PORTION OF THAT TRACT DESCRIBED AS 0.75 OF AN ACRE IN A DEED FROM <br />JAMES TUTTLE TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS DATED OCTOBER 16, 1967 AND <br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 224, PAGE 225 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, <br />AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />BEGINNING at a 3/4" iron pipe found in the southwest line of that <br />tract described as 0.12 of an acre in a deed from KAL Pacific, <br />L.L.C. to Texas State University -San Marcos dated May 30, 2008 <br />and recorded in Volume 3400, Page 607 of the County Official <br />Public Records, for the east corner of that tract from E.J. <br />Hofheinz to Southwest Texas State Teachers College dated November <br />20, 1923 and recorded in Volume 92, Page 337 of the Hays County <br />Deed Records, for the northwest corner of that access easement <br />described as 0.055 of an acre in the previously mentioned KAL <br />Pacific. L.L.C. to Texas State University --San Marcos deed, for <br />the north corner of the remaining portion of the City of San <br />Marcos 0.75 of an acre tract and the north corner of this <br />description; <br />THENCE leaving the Southwest Texas State Teachers College tract <br />and the PLACE OF BEGINNING as shown on that plat numbered <br />26490 -10 -a dated September 10, 2009 as prepared for Texas State <br />University by Byrn & Associates, Inc. of San Marcos, Texas, with <br />J the common northeast line of the Texas State University 0.055 of <br />an acre access easement, the northeast line of the remaining <br />portion of the City of San Marcos 0.75 of an acre tract and the <br />southwest line of the Texas State University 0.12 of an acre <br />tract, S 46 ° 54' 56" E 53.89 feet to a 'i" iron rod found for the <br />south corner of the Texas State University 0.12 of an acre tract, <br />the west corner of Lot 2, Resubdivision of Cypress Bend <br />Subdivision as recorded in Volume 6, Page 50, Plat Records of <br />Hays County, Texas and an angle point in the northeast line of <br />this description; <br />THENCE leaving the Texas State University 0.12 of an acre tract <br />with the common northeast line of the Texas State University <br />0.055 of an acre access easement, the northeast line of the <br />remaining portion of the City of San Marcos 0.75 of an acre tract <br />and the southwest line of Lot 2, Resubdivision of Cypress Bend. <br />Subdivision, <br />Page I of 3 <br />
