• Dianne Wassenich, I 1 Tanglewood, stated that things have gone awry and the Lime Kiln Road
line is much larger than anyone envisioned. She reviewed anonymous complaints with the
TCEQ on this. She informed Mr. Taggart about the complaints.
He has spoken with TCEQ, and she feels he is handling it. She asked Council to stop this line
from going any further. Craddock Avenue has been overbuilt with too many apartments. That
load is causing problems, and they are putting this giant line across Sink Canyon. She implored
Council to stop this one, don't go any further and look for other ways to get to the wastewater
plant.
Steve Harvey, 228 Camaro Way, thanked the Mayor and City Manager for going to Washington
and pitching our city. He reported that so many people have been so welcoming to his new
business, and this is a great community. He was pleased to report on RISE Austin (Relations and
Information Systems for Entrepreneurs). This is an opportunity to share best practices. His
business was approved today and will be participating in future events for this area to make for
an economically viable and diverse community.
8.
