Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, the Workshop of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by Mayor Susan <br />Narvaiz at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the City of San Marcos City <br />Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Discussion on the proposed Fiscal Year 2010 -2011 Budget and provide direction to staff. <br />Tom Rowe -Human Services Advisory Board Chairman, spoke regarding Social Services Funding. He stated 22 <br />agencies with a total of 30 programs presented to Human Services Advisory Board. He stated they are <br />requesting $444,213. <br />The City Council provided directions regarding the following items: <br />• Human Services Advisory Board recommendation. <br />• Hotel/Motel Tax <br />Proposed <br />.an Marcos CVB $663,226 <br />CVB Conf Center Marketing Coop $45,000 <br />CVB Sports Tourism $60,000 <br />Tanger $250,000 <br />Directions <br />$663,226 <br />$45,000 <br />$60,000 <br />$150,000 (not required to do the $50,000 Coop <br />Marketing) <br />
