4. Executive Session <br />In accordance with the Texas Government Code Executive Session in accordance with <br />§551.074- Personnel Matters, §551.072- Deliberation regarding Real Property, and §551.087 - <br />Delibertion on Economic Development. <br />A. Deliberation regarding Interim City Clerk. <br />B. Deliberation on offers of possible incentives to entities considering locating or expanding in <br />the San Marcos community. <br />C. Deliberation regarding the sale or lease of real property. <br />4.1 D. Deliberation on the duties and responsibilities of a public officer; to wit: Interim City <br />Manager. convened into Executive Session at 6:02 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in order to <br />continue discussing matters pertaining to: <br />The Executive Session adjourned at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010. <br />5. Reconvene and Consider Action on Item Discussed During Executive Session. <br />The San Marcos City Council reconvened into regular session at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August <br />17, 2010. <br />f <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Thomaides, the City Council voted seven for and none opposed, to appoint Shelley Goodwin as <br />Interim City Clerk. The motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Narvaiz stated the Council provided direction regarding possible incentives which will <br />be considered later in the Agenda on Item 17. The Council also provided direction regarding the <br />sale or lease of real property. The City Council took the remaining item up later in the meeting. <br />6. Invocation <br />Pastor Dennis Spire with Calvary Baptist Church, provided the invocation. <br />7. Pledge of Allegiance <br />The Councilmember Bose led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />8. Citizen Comments <br />1. Shaun Cranston, 9737 Great Hills Trail #260, Austin, Texas 78759, spoke on <br />Items # 25 and 26, developer for both properties. He stated he went before the Parks Advisory <br />Board and the Planning and Zoning Commission who both passed these request. He encouraged <br />the City Council to approve Items #24 and 25. <br />
