2.2 Designate Lanrie Anderson as the City's Project Manager and authorized representative to <br />act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and <br />information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render responses to the Engineer on issues <br />requiting a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make ali necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter public and <br />private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this Agreement. <br /> <br />2.4 The City shall be responsible for providing a parcel map of the area with known property <br />owners. This report will identify easement requirements. The City will be responsible for <br />determining the value for required easement acquisitions and for acquiring the required easements. <br /> <br />2.5 Provide available criteria and full information as to the City's requirements for the Project. <br /> <br />2.6 Assist the Engineer by placing at his disposal all available written data pertinent to the <br />Project. <br /> <br />2.7 Exanfine documents submitted by the Engineer and render a decision pertaining thereto <br />promptly, to avoid um'easonable delay in the progress of the Engineer's services. <br /> <br />2.8 Bear all costs incident to this A~icle. Furnish information required as expeditiously as <br />possible for the orderly progress of the work. <br /> <br />2.9 Be responsible for the cost of printing and binding of the bid documents. <br /> <br />2.10 Be responsible for contracting with professional consultants for the provision ofgeoteclmical, <br />enviromnental and archeological smMces. <br /> <br />2.11 Bear all costs incident to this Article, and the City will use its best efforts to appraise the <br />Engineer of any inaccuracies, or inconsistencies in the information provided <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> <br />3.1 DEFINITION <br /> <br />3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the Ctiy of ail elements of the <br />Project designed or specified by the Engineer. <br /> <br />3.1.2 The construction cost will include at current market rates, including a reasonable allowance <br />for overhead and profit, the cost of any equipment which has been designed, specified, selected or <br />specially provided for by the Engineer, except that used materials and equipment will be included <br />as if purchased new for the Project. <br /> <br />Byre contract.wpd 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
