The Engineer will conduct monthly progress <br />meetings with the Project Team dnring the design phase. <br /> <br />1.2 TASK 1 - DESIGN REPORT <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Prepare preliminary base map based upon deed records <br /> <br />1.2.2. Obtain m~d/or determine drainage system and other utilities within the Project area. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Perform an investigation and analysis for possible routes for a wastewater main extension(s) <br />to provide public sewer service to Tmnbling Tots, Racquet Com~ & Jim's Gym, part of Quarry <br />Springs and Laurel Estates, Twin Lakes Villas, the First Baptist church site, an existing trailer pm'k <br />and various parcels along Hunter Road. <br /> <br />1.2.4 Coordinate with other consultants (R.O.W., archeological, enviro~rnental, etc.) onthe various <br />routes and review issues affecting the construction of new gravity flow wastewater mains. <br /> <br />1.2.5 Assess the various routes and determine sewershed areas to be served with new gravity flow <br />wastewater main extensions. <br /> <br />1.2.6 Determine probable construction costs for the various routes including borings across the <br />Union Pacific railroad tracks, a tributary of Stream CC-1 and Hunter Road. <br /> <br />1.2.7 Identify specific parcels on which easements would be required for extension ora wastewater <br />main for each alternate route. <br /> <br />1.2.8 Incorporate all recognized issues and probable construction costs into a report that identifies <br />vm'ious options and provides costs versus benefits for the various routes. <br /> <br />1.2.9 Prepare five (5) copies ora draft Design Report for review by the City. <br /> <br />1.2.I0 After receiving approval from the City, prepare five (5) copies ora final report to include <br />City comments/edits. This report will be used to identify the final aligmuent and service area for <br />which construction pimps will be prepared. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 ~ PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />Byre contract.wpd 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
