1.3.1 Complete topographic survey of proposed project aligmuent selected in Task 1 and prepare <br />topographic data for construction plans. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Prepare preliminary construction docmnents for the extension ora wastewater main(s) based <br />upon the proj eot selected in the Task 1. Preliminary documents shall include profiles o fterrain along <br />proposed aligmuent and profile of borings across the Union Pacific railroad tracks, a tributary of <br />Stream CC-1 and Hunter Road as appropriate. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Prepare computations of wet weather flows and required main sizes for service of the <br />watershed. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Provide the City with advice with respect to the malting of all subsurface investigations, <br />including borings, test pits, soil resistivity smweys, and other subsurface explorations; however, the <br />making of such investigations and the interpretations of data and reports by special consultants are <br />not part of the services rendered by the Engineer, and the cost theretbre shall be paid by the City. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Submit five (5) sets of preliminary technical specifications, outline specifications, probable <br />construction costs and parcel maps for easement acquisition along the proposed route(s). <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - FINAL DESIGN <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Prepare detailed plans, teclmicaI specifications, designs and layouts of improvements to be <br />constructed as one construction project. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Prepare permit for bore under Union Pacific Railroad tracks for City to submit. Engineer shall <br />provide necessary techi~ical data for the permit application. <br /> <br />1.4.3 Furhish the City, when required, the engineering data necessary for applications for routine <br />permits required by local, state and federal authorities including general Corps of Engineers 404 <br />permits. <br /> <br />1.4.4 Submit plans and specifications to the applicable federal and state agency(s) for approval, <br />where required. <br /> <br />1.4.5 Furnish information necessary to utility companies whose facilities may be affected or <br />services may be required for the project. <br /> <br />1.4.6 Finalize the parcel boundary requirements for easements. Actual easement boundary surveys <br />and descriptions for the project will be handled under Additional Services. <br /> <br />Byre contract.wpd 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
