1.4.7 Submit five (5) copies of the construction plans, computations, specifications and bid forms <br />to the City for review. <br /> <br />1.4.8 Furnish one-time control staking for the contractor's use including benchmarks at an interval <br />no greater than 2000 feet. Stake base line PI points and manholes for each segment of proposed <br />xvastewater main(s). <br /> <br />1.4.9 Prepare legal metes and bounds descriptions for each parcel easement. Provide the City ten <br />copies of the parcel maps and metes and bounds descriptions If additional copies are requested by <br />the City or property owa~ers, then copies shall be furnished for a fee based upon costs to produce <br />doctm~ents. <br /> <br />1.4.10 Provide field sm'vey staking of the easement boundaries. <br /> <br />1.4.11 Prepare a reproducible set of "Record Drawings" showing changes in the work made during <br />construction phase. Provide the City with a digital copy of the "Record Drawings" in a .dgn or .tif <br />format. <br /> <br />1.4.12 Prepare one ( 1 ) O&M Manual including copies of approved submittals and manufacturer's <br />information on all installed infrastructure including but not limited to pipe, valves fire hydrants, lift <br />stations (pumps, electrical, SCADA), manholes and cleanouts. The O&M Manual will include <br />copies of test results, Certificate of Acceptance and warranty documentation. <br /> <br />1.5 TASK 4 - BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />The Construction phase of this Project will commence with the award of the construction contract <br />and will terminate when the Project is accepted by the City. The Consultant will: <br /> <br />Bidding <br /> <br />1.5.1 Provide reproducible set of documents for bidding to the City of San Marcos for reproduction <br />and distribution and assist the City in the distribution of the bid documents to prospective bidders <br />and to plan rooms and the issuance of addenda (if any) following City's prior approval. <br /> <br />1.5.2 Assist the City in obtaining bids, tabulating bids, preparing bid tabulation forms, and in <br />awarding awarding the contract for construction following the City's approval of the construction <br />contract documents and of the latest detailed final cost estimate of the Project. <br /> <br />1.5.3 Assist the City in reviewing the Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, financial statements of <br />bidders, lists of bidders' proposed subcontractors, and all other documents required to be submitted <br />with the bids. <br /> <br />Byrn contract.wpd 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
