Advocating Responsible Education - S.M. C.I. S.D. v. Kim Porterfield and Susan <br />Narvaiz; in the 274th District Court of Hays County, Texas and authorizing the <br />expenditure of an amount not to exceed $15,000 from the fund balance of the <br />City's Liability Reserve Fund for that purpose. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Jones, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Resolution <br />20140 -1478, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />32. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2010 -50, adopted September 7, 2010, amending the <br />Future Land Use Map from "I" Industrial to "MDR" Medium Density Residential <br />for an 8.61 acre, more or less, tract of land out of the J.M. Veramendi Survey <br />No.2, located at 1653 Mill Street; amending the Official Zoning Map of the City <br />by rezoning this tract from "HI" Heavy Industrial District to "MF -12" Multiple - <br />Family Residential District; including procedural provisions. <br />33. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2010 -51, adopted September 7, 2010, amending the <br />Future Land Use May from "LDR" Low Density Residential to "HDR" High <br />Density Residential for a 0.360 acre, more or less, tract of land out of the Third <br />Division Park Addition located at 1028 Chestnut Street; and including procedural <br />provisions. <br />34. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2010 -52, adopted September 7, 2010, amending the <br />Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning a 0.360 acre tract of land (Lot 80) is <br />and a 0.361 acre tract of land (Lot 81), more or less, out of the Third Division <br />Park Addition located at 1028 Chestnut Street from "SF -6" Sinale- Family <br />Residential District to "MF -24" Multiple - Family Residential District; and <br />including procedural provisions. <br />The City Council choice not to reconsider Ordinances 2010 -50, 2010 -51 and 2010 -52, which <br />were adopted September 7, 2010. <br />35. Consider the removal from table on the September 7, 2010 Regular Meeting and hold a <br />discussion on implementation of an Ordinance that would require door -to -door solicitors <br />mister with the City of San Marcos, and provide direction to staff. <br />36. Discussion and presentation of information regarding Utility Review Methodologies, and <br />provide direction to staff. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion to table Items 35 and 36 until October 19, 2010,made by <br />Councilmember Thomaides and a second by Councilmember Thomaides, the City Council <br />voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed.
