CURRENT <br />(g) Park Benefit Areas <br />The City shall establish a separate parkland <br />and open space account. The funds in the <br />account shall be earmarked solely for the <br />acquisition and development of parkland <br />either in the same park benefit area in which <br />the subdivision is located, or for regional <br />parks and open space that will benefit all of <br />the citizens of San Marcos. The City shall <br />expend cash contributions within ten years <br />of the date any such contribution is made. <br />(h) Parkland Conveyance <br />Land proposed for dedication as public <br />parkland or open space shall be designated <br />on the final plat and shown as "Parkland <br />dedicated to the City of San Marcos." <br />The acreage of the land included in the <br />dedication shall also be shown on the plat. <br />All land designated as parkland shall be <br />included in a separate lot, or multiple lots, <br />that are shown on the plat. <br />The subdivider shall be obligated to survey <br />corner markers at the corners of all parkland <br />lots in accordance with the standards set <br />forth in Chapter 6, Article 7, Division 3. <br />Prior to the City's acceptance of the <br />subdivision improvements, the subdivider <br />shall deliver a warranty deed to the City <br />conveying fee simple title of all parkland <br />shown on the final plat. - <br />133 <br />PROPOSED <br />All fees to be paid at building permit stage <br />similar to other City impact fees. <br />
