<br />services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Engineer's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies <br />of official City design standards and construction standards, and other data and information <br />in the City's possession needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Designate Laurie Anderson as the City's Project Manager and authorized <br />representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will <br />examine the documents and information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render <br />responses to the Engineer on issues requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter <br />public and private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES <br /> <br />3.1 Reimbursable expenses, including such things as expenses for plotting, <br />reproduction of documents except bid documents, auto travel mileage, delivery charges, <br />long distance communications, freight, and state accessibility review are included in the <br />Engineer's basic services compensation. Reimbursable expenses in excess of $2,000.00 <br />are to be charged to the City by the Engineer at actual costs plus 10% mark-up. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 4 <br />PAYMENTS TO THE ENGINEER <br /> <br />4.1 PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT OF BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />4.1.1 Payments for Basic Services will be made to Engineer monthly following the City's <br />receipt of Engineer's invoices and appropriate payment requisitions. The amounts of <br />these invoices will be based upon the hours of work performed by the Engineer and its <br />and subcontractors within each task and the actual hourly rates for the employees of the <br />Engineer and its subconsultants, in accordance with Article 13 of this Agreement, less any <br />disputed amounts, pending resolution thereof. <br /> <br />4.2 PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT OF ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />Reservoir Study Contract.wpd <br /> <br />5 <br />
