GOALS AND ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />You agree to use your best professional efforts to accomplish the following goals, through the <br />following activities, on behalf of the City: <br /> <br />GOAL 1: To provide engineering expertise and value engineering assistance on the <br />Cottonwood Creek Wastewater Interceptor C.I.P. project through the technical <br />review of contract documents. <br /> <br />ACTIVITIES: <br /> <br />1.1 Review plans and specifications, design manuals, calculations and manufacturer <br />literature for the project specifically focusing on the two lift stations and force <br />mams <br /> <br />1.2 Coordinate with pump manufacturers, City engineering and operations staff, <br />design engineer and contractors to insure that the project plans and specifications <br />reflect a project that is cost effective to construct and provides for optimum <br />operation. <br /> <br />1.3 Prepare written comments and reports. <br /> <br />1.4 Schedule and attend meetings with the City, design engineer and others. <br /> <br />GOAL 2: To prepare standard calculations, drawings and specifications for lift <br />station and force main construction to be incorporated in the City's Manual for <br />Design and Construction, and to provide related technical assistance to the <br />Department of Environment and Engineering as necessary. <br /> <br />1 <br />City Hall- 630 East Hopkins - San Marcos, Texas 78666 - 512/393-8100 - FAX 512/396-4656 <br />
