• <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br />2811old a discussion regarding the composition of the Historic Preservation Commission and direction to <br />Staff. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember Terry, <br />the City Council voted (7) for and (0) opposed, to table this item until the January 4, 2011 meeting. <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br />2911old a discussion regarding City of San Marcos State and Federal Legislative Programs and direction to <br />Staff. <br />This item was pulled up to 7:09 P.M. <br />A presentation was given by Melissa Millecam, Communications Director, Henry Bonilla, U.S. Representative <br />and Christine Pellerin of the Normandy Group. They provided information to Council on current appropriatior <br />bills and funding requests for projects. Council Consensus was to still work on the Loop 82 Railroad overpass <br />requests. The Group also stated that they are working with FAA's managers association, and that we are next c <br />the list as a contract airport to have staffing. Another presentation given by Winstead PC State Representatives <br />Janis Carter and Rebecca Moss was also given. They plan on setting up a lunch and learn with state officials it <br />the near future. <br />• <br />30Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br />There were no questions. <br />31 Adjournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember Terry, <br />the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular meeting of the San <br />Marcos City Council at 10:11 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
