Consider the approval of Resolution 2011 -21R recommending inclusion of recreation <br />mitigation measures in the Edwards Aquifer Recovery Implementation Program Habitat <br />Conservation Plan. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Thomason, the City Council voted (7) for and (0) opposed, to table until the February 15, 2011 <br />meeting. The motion carried unanimously. <br />17. Consider the confirmation of City Manager Jim Nuse's reappointment of Cheryl Lee to the <br />Civil Service Commission. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Prather, the City Council voted (7) for and (0) opposed, to approve the reappointment of Cheryl Lee <br />to the Civil Service Commission. The motion carried unanimously. • <br />18. Consider the appointment of a member of Council to the Lone Star Rail District Board of <br />Directors. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember <br />Thomason, the City Council voted (7) for and (0) opposed, to approve the appointment of <br />Councilmember Kim Porterfield to the Lone Star Rail District Board of Directors. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />19. Consider appointments to the Economic Development San Marcos Board (EDB) and the <br />Greater San Marcos Economic Development Corporation (GSMEDC). <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Porterfield and a second by Councilmember <br />Jones, the City Council voted (7) for and (0) opposed, to approve the appointment of Chamber of <br />Commerce President Brian Bondy to the Economic Development San Marcos Board.
