<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />LARGE GENERAL SERVICE-SECONDARY <br />Rate Schedule - LGS-Sec <br /> <br />Effective: February 11 th, 2002 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for large general service electric service at secondary voltages <br />on the basis of this Rate Schedule - LGS-Sec. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San Marcos Electric <br />Utility Rules and Regulations are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City <br />System"). <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to all electric service required by Customer for lighting, power and any other purpose, <br />other than residential service as defined in Rate Schedule - RS, where service to the Customer is at a secondary voltage, <br />as defined hereinafter, and the Customer's maximum metered kW demand is 500.0 kW or greater and for which no <br />specific rate schedule is available. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />~rvice under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single phase, at the City's option of the standard <br />~condary voltages available from the City System. For the purpose of this rate schedule, SECONDARY voltages are <br />lfined as 600 volts or less. Standby or resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule. <br /> <br />MONTHLY RATE <br /> <br />Customer Charge (Single or Three Phase) <br />Energy Charge (All Metered kWh) <br />Demand Charge (All Billing kW <br /> <br />$200.00 per month <br />$0.0292 per kWh <br />$8.60 per Billing kW <br /> <br />The above rates per kWh will be adjusted plus or minus in accordance with the formula specified in the Power Cost <br />Adjustment Clause. The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges <br />imposed by any governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of <br />electricity purchased or sold by the City. <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the CUSTOMER CHARGE, the DEMAND CHARGE and all applicable <br />rate adjustments. <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\Electric Utility tariffs.doc <br />
