Mr. Guerrero stated he feels there is a lack of consistency with the noise violations coming from cars. Mr. Thomaides inquired as to the number of officers on each shift who are on patrol. Mr. O'Leary stated he would research this information and bring it back to the Council for discussion. Mayor Narvaiz introduced a discussion regarding scheduling a date for a Workshop on Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2005 Application Review. Mayor Narvaiz stated the Council needs to hold the Workshop between June 22 and July 1, 2005. The Council agreed by consensus to hold the Workshop on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced receiving a report from Deputy Mayor Pro -Tem Bill Taylor and hold discussion regarding electronic agenda. Mr. Taylor stated he attended the electronic agenda demonstration provided by Municipal Code. He stated the MuniAgenda is a complete paperless agenda. He stated there are five ways to receive a paperless agenda. He stated Municipal Code can customize the MuniAgenda program to fit our agenda process. He stated with the MuniAgenda the Agenda could automatically go on the City website. He stated Municipal Code can provide security links while the MuniAgenda is being built for the City. He also stated he feels this is an excellent product. Mr. Thomaides inquired whether the Council would be wired to the internet during Council meetings. Mr. O'Leary stated the Council would need to discuss the option of being wired to the internet during the Council meetings. The Council agreed by consensus to move forward on purchasing the paperless agenda software. Ms. Womack stated the software is available on the State Building and Procurement Commission (CISV) Program. Mayor Narvaiz introduced a discussion regarding City Council direction of future agenda items. 1) Mr. Mihalkanin stated he was approached by a citizen regarding a 3 -1 -1 or 4 -1 -1 system for non - emergencies. He stated he would like for Council to hold a discussion regarding these systems. He also stated he feels these systems could track complaints regarding vehicle noise and parking complaints. Mr. O'Leary stated the Chief of Police could provide the Council with information regarding the 3 -1 -1 and 4 -1 -1 systems for non - emergency calls. He stated the Chief of Police can also combine this discussion with the loud noise from cars. 2) Mayor Narvaiz stated she and Mr. Mihalkanin were at the EDC meeting where the Land Development Code was discussed. She stated she received a lot of feedback from citizens. She stated she would like to have an update on the Land Development Code and to also include the Staff's perception on changes and complaints. Mr. Taylor stated he feels the housing and commercial status should also be included in the report.
