Notice for each of the joint public hearing(s) shall be published in an official <br />newspaper of general local circulation in the City before the 15th day before the date of the respective <br />public hearings, in the following form: <br /> <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> <br />The San Marcos City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a joint <br />public hearing at [time] p.m. on [date] in the City Council Chambers, 630 East Hopkins <br />Street, San Marcos, Texas, to consider a new Official Zoning Map of the City, and related <br />Future Land Use Map anlendments. At the public hearing, parties in interest and citizens will <br />have an opportunity to be heard about the proposed new Official Zoning Map of the City, and <br />related Future Land Use Map amendments. Copies of the proposed Official Zoning Map of <br />the City are available at [describe], and on the City web page at http://www.ci.san- <br />marcos.tx.us/. Comments may be emailed to the City at planning@cLsan-marcos.tx.us or <br />mailed to the City at: City of San Marcos, Planning and Development Services, 630 East <br />Hopkins Street, San Marcos, TX 78666. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph oftms ordinance is held to <br />be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this <br />ordinance will continue in force ifthey can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 6.
