Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding pending litigation, contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or a matter involving attorney-client privilege (San Marcos Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Contract)i Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss purchase of real property (downtown area)i and Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is conducting economic development negotiations, or to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (North IH35 areai IH35/Wonder World Drive areai RR12/Craddock areai sporting goods retaileri purchase of real property - downtown area) . The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 6:01 p.m.
