Is this application in response to a published Request for Proposals list Texas <br />Register? <br />This application is presented in response to the Texas Water Development Board <br />(TWDB) Request for Proposals for Flood Protection Planning as issued in the Texas <br />Register, October 1,2004. (TRD-200405838) <br /> <br />7. Total proposed planning cost. <br />$433,500 <br /> <br />8. Total grant funds requested from the Texas Water Development Board. <br />$200,000 (46%) <br /> <br />9. Source of Cash contribution, explanation of source of local cash contribution and <br />attach list of sources. <br />The City's cash contribution is funded through the CIP Drainage Utility Fund, <br />specifically account number 616.552.73254. A copy of this page from the City's adopted <br />FY 2004-05 budget is included as Attachment 9. <br /> <br />11. Applicant in-kind contribution including a description of in-kind services to be <br />provided. <br />The City of San Marcos will contribute staff time in the following areas: data collection <br />(compilation of existing reports, GIS data, field survey of slab elevations, inventory and <br />assessment of environmental features), data preparation in GIS format, review of <br />hydrologic and hydraulic models, coordination with other participating entities, review <br />and prioritization of proposed flood mitigation alternatives. <br /> <br />In addition, the City proposes to provide FEMA elevation certificates as a service to <br />residents located in Special Flood Hazard Areas. <br /> <br />Hays County will provide in-kind services for technical assistance in the form of <br />planning, development and review of alternatives, provision of GIS data, and other <br />services as needed for an amount up to $5,000. <br /> <br />The Edwards Aquifer Authority will provide in-kind services for technical assistance in <br />the form of planning, development and review of alternatives, provision of GIS data, <br />environmental data, and any available hydrogeologic data or other services which may be <br />needed, for an amount up to $5,000. BAA will provide particular technical expertise in <br />the review of potential sites for multi-pUIpose stormwater facilities (detention/water <br />supply/enhanced recharge). Please note: BAA intends to commit to the effort with these <br />in-kind services. but did not have a letter of support or Board Resolution finalized by the <br />time of the grant submittal.
