<br />Chris Stewart, AICP. CFM <br /> <br />FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant, City of Marble Falls: Mr. Stewart prepared a successful application to the <br />State Division of Emergency Management for the acquisition by FEMA grant of two lots located in the regulatory <br />floodway, which had been badly damaged in 1997 flooding. The acquired properties were set aside for <br />integration into the City's hike-and-bike trail. <br /> <br />WoodcreekMaster DrablagePlan (City of Wood creek): For this TWDB grant-fimdedproject,:Mr. Stewart <br />provided CAD support during the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis on Hog Creek. The study identified existing <br />areas of flooding and developed a phased improvement plan of the creek in order to contain the frequent flooding. <br />The recommended improvements involved approximately 1,500 feet of channel improvements and one bridge <br />upgrade. Close community involvement ensured an aesthetic, practical and favorable solution for all <br />stakeholders. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan, City of Liberty Bill: Mr. Stewart is currently providing consulting services to the City of <br />Liberty Hill, and assisted the City Council, Planning and Zoning Connnittee in developing the City's first <br />Comprehensive Plan. Elements of this plan include: a Baseline Analysis; Housing; Parks and Recreation; Economic <br />Development; Future Land Use; and, Transportation. The City expects a tripling ofits population to over 8,000 in the <br />next twenty years. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan, City of Marble FaDs: M vice-chairman of the Comprehensive Plan steering conmrittee, he <br />worked with various community groups and an outside consultant to produce a balanced Comprehensive Plan <br />document to guide the City's growth, which was ultimately unanimously adopted by the Cotmci1. Toward <br />implementation of the Comprehensive Plan, Mr. Stewart worked closely with the C01.mcil and implemented new <br />ordinances and revisions to existing ordinances. <br /> <br />Bike-and-Bike Trail, Marble Falls: Mr. Stewart worked closely with outside consultants to route a hike-and-bike <br />trail ftmded with a matching grant from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Mr. Stewart studied adjacent <br />zoning issues, floodplain, utilities, and bridge crossings to identify a preferred optimal route. <br /> <br />Linear Park Design, Germany: The Deutsche Balm (German National Railway) was plamring a high-speed rail <br />route to travel on an existing route across southwestern Germany. In order to mitigate noise pollution, the plan called <br />for sound absorption walls 2-4 meters in height. Mr. Stewart worked with the architect to develop a 7-kilometer linear <br />park feature with sidewalks and landscaping along the railroad right--of-way to soften the visual impact of the walls. <br />Mr. Stewart applied particular detail in the design of pedestrian underpasses. <br /> <br />Curley Mesquite Cove Drainage Improvements, City of Sunset Valley: Mr. Stewart developed a natural channel <br />design concept to divert and attenuate problematic flows at an existing channel outfall. The project is located in a city <br />park over the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone. and provided a gentle solution, integrated into the landscape. <br /> <br />City Planner, City of Marble Falls: Ai; the sole planning staff for this Hill Country city of 6,000, Mr. Stewart <br />administered the Zoning Commission. During his tenure, he prepared nwnerous reviews of applications for zoning <br />changes, plats, annexations, conditional use permits, and variances, and presented staff reports to the Commission and <br />City Council. Mr. Stewart also prepared, under the direction of the Planning and Zoning Conmrission and City <br />COl.mcil, numerous amendments to the Zoning and Subdivision ordinances. <br /> <br />Development Planner, City of Georgetown: As a staff planner to this City of 35,000, Mr. Stewart performed <br />reviews of multiple subdivision, site plan, zoning, and variance applications for presentation to the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustment, and the City Council. <br /> <br />Official Zoning Map, City of Sunset Valley: Mr. Stewart produced the City of Sunset Valley's first GIS-based <br />zoning map, reflecting the most current ordinances and corporate limit adjustments. <br /> <br />Espey Consultants, Inc. <br /> <br />Page 2 of2 <br /> <br />Exhibit A, Page 69 <br />
