B. Monday, October 17, 2005 or Wednesday, October 19, 2005 <br />for City Council Workshop at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room for <br />discussion of Board appointments. Mr. Mihalkanin moved for approval of <br />City Council Workshop for the purpose of discussion of Board appointments <br />to be held on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall <br />Conference Room, and Mr. Diaz seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. C. Approval of Wednesday, November 2, 2005 for City Council <br />Special Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers to consider Board <br />appointments. Mr. Mihalkanin moved for approval of City Council Special <br />Meeting for the purpose of Board appointments to be held on Wednesday, <br />November 9, 2005 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers, and Mr. Guerrero <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. D. approval of December, <br />2005 City Council Regular Meetings to be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 <br />at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, December 12, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Mihalkanin <br />moved for approval of December, 2005, City Council Regular Meetings to be <br />held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, December 12, <br />2005, at 6:00 p.m. and Mr. Guerrero seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. E. approval of January, 2006 City Council Regular Meetings <br />to be held on Monday, January 9, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January <br />17, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Taylor moved for approval of January, 2006 City <br />Council Regular Meetings to be held on Monday, January 9, 2006, at 6:00 <br />p.m. and Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. and Mr. Guerrero seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced a discussion regarding update on Rio Vista Public <br />Works Project. Laurie Anderson, Director of Engineering, stated the Rio <br />Vista Public Works Project has been delayed. She stated originally the <br />design for this project was going to be done in house and because of the <br />increase of workload, Staff is unable to do the design in a timely manner. <br />She stated an award of a contract for Rio Vista Public Works Project should <br />come to the Council for approval at the Regular Meeting scheduled for <br />October 4, 2005. Mr. Thomaides stated he would like the Council of <br />Neighborhoods Association to be provided a status report on this project. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced a discussion regarding paperless agenda equipment. <br />Mayor Narvaiz inquired to whether the Council is interested in taking the <br />laptops home. She stated if the Council takes the laptops home, then the <br />laptops will need additional software. Mr. Mihalkanin inquired whether you <br />will be able to print out one page or will the entire attachments will need <br />to be printed. Mr. O'Leary stated the system will allow you to print out <br />one page. Mr. O'Leary stated he recommends the Council get the additional <br />software. The Council agreed by consensus to purchase the additional <br />software.
