<br />2.3 Designate Jim Klein as the City's Project Manager and authorized representative to act on <br />the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and <br />information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render responses to the Engineer on issues <br />requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.4 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter public and <br />private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this Agreement. The City <br />will make provisions for the Engineer's personnel to have night time access to sampling locations <br />during test days. <br /> <br />2.5 Provide one City employee to assist with sample collection and transport at times during the <br />test days; it is also anticipated that the City will make limited laboratory facilities available to the <br />Engineer for use on test days. <br /> <br />2.6 Bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES <br /> <br />3.1 Reimbursable expenses, including such things as expenses for consumable sample collection <br />equipment, reproduction of documents, transportation of sampling/testing equipment, auto travel <br />mileage, lodging, delivery charges, long distance communications, freight, and lab service, will be <br />billed to the City at cost plus 10%, and are included in the Engineer's basic services compensation <br />as described in Section 13.2. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 4 <br />PAYMENTS TO THE ENGINEER <br /> <br />4.1 PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT OF BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />The City will make payments for Basic Services to the Engineer monthly following the City's receipt <br />of the Engineer's invoices and appropriate payment requisitions. The amounts of these invoices will <br />be based upon the hours of work performed by the Engineer and its subcontractors within each phase <br />of services, and the actual hourly rates for the employees of the Engineer and its sub-consultants, less <br />any disputed amounts, pending resolution thereof. <br /> <br />4.2 PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT OF ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />Payments on account of the Engineer's Additional Services as defined in Section 1.14 will be made <br />monthly upon presentation of the Engineer's statement of services rendered or expenses incurred, <br />less any disputed amounts, pending resolution thereof and an Authorization of Change in Services <br />form executed by the Engineer and the City. <br /> <br />11 <br />
