<br />(d) Additional training or ongoing technical support. <br />(e) Technical support in the development of projected water rates. <br />(f) Technical support in the development of bond funding packages. <br />(g) Technical support with contract negotiations with neighboring utilities concernIng <br />connections to the system. <br />(h) Additional technical support in the preparation of GASB 34 accounting reports. <br />(i) Water quality modeling for specific quality parameters. <br />(j) Any other activities not specifically identified in the Basic Scope of Services. <br />(k) Providing the City with upgrades to its WaterCad license. <br /> <br />If the Engineer identifies an Additional Service that is required, the Engineer shall provide notice <br />to the City and provide a budget estimate for the specific scope. The Engineer shall not proceed with <br />an Additional Service without specific written authorization from the City. <br /> <br />1.14.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the Engineer <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 4.2 of this Agreement. The approval of the <br />City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds <br />$15,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Furnish to the Engineer the following existing reports/data: <br /> <br />(a) The City of San Marcos Technical Memorandum No.9 Water Distribution System <br />Analysis, May 1999 Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. <br />(b) City of San Marcos Well Investigation Report, May 2000 Black & Veatch <br />(c) San Marcos Texas Water System Study, February 1983 Freese and Nichols <br />(d) Coordination of Surface Water Supply to Southwest Texas State University System, <br />April 1999 Baker-Aicklen&Associates, Inc. <br />(e) The City of San Marcos Surface Water Treatment Plant Project Design Report, February <br />1998 Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. <br />(f) The City of San Marcos Surface Water Treatment Plant Project Design Report, February <br />1998 Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />2.2 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the Engineer's <br />services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer data being developed as part of <br />a current Transportation Master Planning Project, copies of the City's latest mapping in MicroStation <br />format, and construction plans for projects currently under construction. <br /> <br />10 <br />
