<br />3. The City Council held a public hearing on the <br />Apr il ,2002, regarding the application. <br /> <br />22nd day of <br /> <br />4. All requirements of Chapter 114, Zoning, of the San Marcos City Code <br />pertaining to zoning map amendments have been met. <br /> <br />5. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the adoption of the <br />following ordinance is in the interest of the public health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section <br />114.029 of the San Marcos City Code, is amended to zone the following areas of real <br />property, which are presently unzoned, as "SR" Suburban Residential District: <br /> <br />TRACT 1: Willow Creek Estates Subdivision, Section 1, as recorded in Volume <br />1, Page 203 of the Hays County Plat Records. <br /> <br />TRACT 2: Laurel Estates Subdivision, Section 1, Lots 1 through 44, according to <br />the plat recorded in Volume 1, Page 24 of the Hays County Plat Records. <br /> <br />TRACT 3: Laurel Estates Subdivision, Section 2, Lots 48 through 88, according <br />to the plat recorded in Volume 1, Page 62 of the Hays County Plat Records, and <br />portions of Laurel Estates Subdivision, Section 2, Lot 89, as described in the <br />metes and bounds description attached as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />TRACT 4: Laurel Estates Subdivision, Section 3, Lots 1 and 2, according to the <br />plat recorded in Volume 2, Page 310 of the Hays County Plat Records. <br /> <br />TRACT 5: Quarry Springs Subdivision, Section 1, as recorded in Volume 6, Page <br />298 of the Hays County Plat Records. <br /> <br />TRACT 6: Quarry Springs Subdivision, Section 2, as recorded in Volume 6, Page <br />299 of the Hays County Plat Records. <br /> <br />TRACT 7: A 4.085 acre, more or less, area of land in the 100 and 200 block of <br />Reimer A venue, consisting of the ten parcels of land described in the metes and <br />bounds descriptions attached as Exhibit B. <br /> <br />TRACT 8: A 3.52 acre, more or less, area of land in the 100 block of Howard <br />Place, consisting of the four parcels of land described in the metes and bounds <br />descriptions attached as Exhibit C. <br />
