A runoff election is ordered to be held by the City of San Marcos, at the <br />polling places and election precincts within the corporate limits of the City, as designated in this <br />ordinance, on the 1 st day of June, 2002, from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at which election <br />there shall be elected by the qualified voters of the City, a Mayor, for a term of two years, a Council <br />Member for Place 3, for a term of three years, and a Council Member for Place 4, for a term ofthree <br />years, in accordance with applicable provisions of the City Charter and State law. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The election precincts for the City election shall be substantially the same <br />precincts as those Hays County Election Precincts which are within the corporate limits of the City <br />of San Marcos. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
