The City Council of the City shall, by separate resolution, appoint presiding <br />judges and alternate judges to serve in this election, and it shall be each such judge's duty to hold <br />the election in their respective precincts, and any vacancies occurring after the initial appointment <br />may be filled by subsequent resolution(s) of the City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Each presiding judge may appoint up to two (2) clerks, and with the <br />permission of the City Clerk, additional clerks, to serve for each precinct in this election. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. Janis K. Womack is appointed clerk for early voting for this election. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. The main early polling place for early voting by personal appearance for <br />this election is City Hall, 630 East Hopkins Street in the City, and the temporary branch early <br />polling place for early voting by personal appearance for this election is the School Administration <br />Building. Early voting by personal appearance shall be conducted during normal working days in <br />at San Marcos City Hall weekdays, May15, 2002 (or as soon as practicable) through May 28, 2002, <br />from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except Memorial Day, May 27, 2002) and Saturday May 25,2002 from <br />10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Early voting by personal appearance shall also be conducted during normal <br />working days at the San Marcos Consolidated School District Administration Building weekdays, <br />May 15, 2002 (or as soon as practicable) through May 28, 2002 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. Early voting by mail ballot shall be conducted in accordance with applicable <br />provisions of the Texas Election Code. The address of 63 0 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas, shall <br />be the early voting clerk's mailing address to which ballot applications and ballots voted by mail <br />may be sent for the City. <br /> <br />SECTION 9. All early votes and other votes to be processed in accordance with early voting <br />procedures pursuant to the Texas Election Code shall be delivered to the Early Voting Ballot <br /> <br />2 <br />
