The Engineer will meet with the Project team to set the design and production <br />schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the components within which all Project <br />participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlines involved in the <br />comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the Engineer will prepare a detailed <br />schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating <br />the points of involvement of all project participants. The Engineer will conduct weekly progress <br />meetings between the Project team and the Contractor once the construction contract is executed. <br /> <br />1.1.8 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents required for <br />the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. <br /> <br />1.2 TASK 1 -SURVEY <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />Control Survey <br /> <br />1.2.1 Establish horizontal and vertical control by tying into the City of San Marcos' GPS control. <br /> <br />1.2.2 Tie into key points ofR.O.W. for orientation. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Perform control analysis and adjustment. <br /> <br />Design Survey <br /> <br />1.2.4 Field survey cross-sections at 50' intervals and 75' wide. <br /> <br />1.2.5 Coordinate with "One Call" the field identification of all existing utilities prior to field work. <br /> <br />1.2.6 Tie all visible and accessible existing utilities (a minimum of what is listed below): <br /> <br />a. <br />b. <br /> <br />c. <br />d. <br /> <br />e. <br />f. <br /> <br />D <br />O' <br />h. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />J. <br />k. <br />1. <br /> <br />m. <br /> <br />Carter & Burgess2.wpd <br /> <br />Wastewater manholes; <br />Wastewater cleanouts (may be outside of 75' width); <br />Water valves; <br />Water meters; <br />Fire hydrants; <br />Telephone and power poles; <br />Fiber optic (usually labeled by signs); <br />Gas lines; <br />Street light poles; <br />Traffic signals; <br />Trees (> 8" in diameter); <br />Driveways; <br />Sidewalks; <br /> <br />2 <br />
