<br />2. The City Council may periodically review and provide direction to you on your work priorities <br />for activities and work assignments. <br /> <br />3 . You will perform your services in accordance with applicable laws, and in cooperation with <br />other appointees of the City Council. <br /> <br />c. COMPENSATION <br /> <br />In consideration of your services, the City agrees to pay you the sum of $1,000 per month, over <br />and above your current salary. For any time period less than a month that you provide services <br />under this agreement, the City will compensate you at this rate on a pro rata basis. Upon <br />termination of this agreement, you will return to your former position as Fire Chief of the City, at <br />the then-current salary level for that position. <br /> <br />D. MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />1. Neither party may assign any of its rights, or delegate or subcontract any of its duties under <br />this Agreement, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of the other party. <br /> <br />2. Either party to this agreement may terminate this agreement with or without cause by giving <br />10 days written notice to the other party. <br /> <br />3. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
