• <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. The Future Land Use Plan of the San Marcos Horizons City Master Plan <br />is revised to change the future land use designation for the following tracts of real property as <br />follows: <br />TRACT A (8.38 ACRES) from "C" Commercial to "MDR" Medium Density <br />Residential: <br />Street address: Telluride Street near Post Road <br />Size: 8.38 acres, more or less <br />Legal description: 8.38 acres, more or less, out of the J.M. Veramendi Survey <br />No. 2, Abstract No. 17, as described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit <br />" <br />TRACT B (9.87 ACRES) from "HDR" High Density Residential to "MDR" Medium <br />Density Residential: <br />Street address: Telluride Street near Post Road is <br />Size: 9.87 acres, more or less <br />Legal description: 9.87 acres, more or less, out of the J.M. Veramendi Survey <br />No. 2, Abstract No. 17, as described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit <br />" A " <br />SECTION 2. The Official Zoning Map of the City, as described in Section 4.1.2.2 of the <br />City Land Development Code, is amended to rezone said Tract A (8.38 Acres) from "GC" <br />General Commercial District to "MF -12" Multiple - Family Residential District and to rezone said <br />Tract B (9.87 acres) from "FD" Future Development District to "MF -12" Multiple - Family <br />residential District. <br />SECTION 3. After its original passage, this ordinance will be subject to reconsideration <br />at the next regular City Council meeting. If this ordinance is not reconsidered, or if it is <br />reconsidered and approved, it shall become effective thereafter. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on May 17, 2011, subject to reconsideration <br />at the next regular City Council meeting scheduled for June 7, 2011. <br />Reconsidered: yes no <br />If yes: approved is <br />
