<br />'--'JU /ipptl(;UtlUrt 1'>..lt <br /> <br />(page 2 of 3) <br /> <br />Pro' ect Activities: <br /> <br />The activities include the day-to-day instruction of police officers, <br />coordinating schedules and training of contract trainers, scheduling and <br />arranging training sites, testing and evaluating students' comprehension, and <br />developing and modifying curriculum. The training curriculum provided <br />throughout the State will be flexible in order to meet the project goal using <br />the necessary number of hours of training for the targeted groups. In <br />addition to travel to provide the training to police officers in various <br />geographical areas of the State, there will be additional travel required so <br />that trainers can obtain training related to the project topics. <br /> <br />Pro.ject Ob'ectives: <br />The project will account for the number of officers trained as well as the <br />number and geographic locations of where training was provided. <br /> <br />Output Measures: Number of officers trained. <br />Number of geographically different training sites. <br /> <br />Outcome Measures: Successful completion of the course of <br />instruction to earn TCLEOSE credit and provision of timely, <br />accurate, and useful training based on post-instruction written <br />critiques. <br /> <br />Current Data: N/ A. First Responder training across the State is <br />sporadic and fragmented with no current data available at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Target Levels: <br />1. Provide training to 600 officers. <br />2. Provide training at 20 geographically different locations across <br />the State. <br />
