<br />(d) If it is determined by a veterinarian that a quarantined animal does not show the clinical signs <br />of rabies at the end of the quarantine period, the local healthrabies control authority will release <br />it to the owner if the owner has paid all fees assessed under this chapter, and if: <br /> <br />(1) The owner has a current, valid rabies vaccination certificate for the animCl-l; or <br />". ,-' <br /> <br />(2) The animal is vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian at the owner's expense <br />at the conclusion of the quarantine. <br /> <br />Sec. 6.171. Animals constituting imminent danger. <br /> <br />Any animal that is or appears to be rabid, constituting an imminent danger to any person or to <br />any other animal, may be immediately exterminated by a police or animal control officer. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The fees related to the administration of Chapter 6 of the City Code are set as <br />shown on Attachment l, Animal Control Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held to be <br />unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this ordinance <br />will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. All ordinances and resolution or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict with <br />this ordinance are repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. Any person violating any provision of this ordinance commits a misdemeanor and <br />is subject to the penalty provided in Section 1.015 of the San Marcos City Code upon conviction. <br /> <br />SECTION 7.
