Allen Cameron, 2600 Hunter Road #1115, requested that the Council look favorably on the proposed Veteran's Commission Board Ordinance and feels that it is the right thing to do for the Veteran's in this community. Tom Turdik, 1268 Holland, stated that he felt a spouse of a veteran has done as much as a veteran has and they should be honored as well. If the committee didn't want a non- veteran as chair, then the committee didn't have to vote for them. Jim Kimmel, 110 Norcrest Dr., presented the Council with a copy of his book on the San Marcos A River Story. Ron Jager, 626 W. San Antonio, stated that he believed that the HPC's duties should be defined in the San Marcos SmartCode, and is concerned that ten years from now that the City Staff will not understand what the HP C is.
