Allen Cameron, 2600 Hunter Road #1115, requested that the Council look favorably on the <br />proposed Veteran's Commission Board Ordinance and feels that it is the right thing to do for the <br />Veteran's in this community. <br />Tom Turdik, 1268 Holland, stated that he felt a spouse of a veteran has done as much as a <br />veteran has and they should be honored as well. If the committee didn't want a non- veteran as <br />chair, then the committee didn't have to vote for them. <br />Jim Kimmel, 110 Norcrest Dr., presented the Council with a copy of his book on the San Marcos <br />A River Story. <br />Ron Jager, 626 W. San Antonio, stated that he believed that the HPC's duties should be defined <br />in the San Marcos SmartCode, and is concerned that ten years from now that the City Staff will <br />not understand what the HP C is. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />8.
