<br />13. Historicallarcheological survey, or hazardous materials investigation. <br /> <br />14. Preparation of metes and bounds descriptions for required land acquisition and <br />permanent and temporary construction easements. <br /> <br />1.5.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Engineer must <br />be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 14.3 of this Agreement. The approval of the <br />City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds <br />$15,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the Engineer's <br />services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies of official City design <br />standm'ds and construction standards, and other data and information in the City's possession needed <br />by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Designate James Klein as the City's Project Manager and authorized representative to act on <br />the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and <br />information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render responses to the Engineer on issues <br />requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter public and <br />private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this Agreement. <br /> <br />2.4 Provide preliminary planning information for the lift station with regard to population and <br />flow projections, including anticipated infiltration and inflow allowances, proposed upstream gravity <br />main improvements, and proposed downstream force main and gravity main improvements. <br /> <br />2.5 Provide assistance in obtaining the proposed influent pipeline size, location, and invert <br />elevation (being designed by others), at the connection to the proposed lift station. <br /> <br />2.6 Provide "as-built" construction drawings for the existing lift station, force main(s), and <br />gravity mains being complimented or replaced under this Project. <br /> <br />2.7 Provide a completed study performed by the City regarding the expansion capabilities of the <br />existing lift station. <br /> <br />2.8 Provide construction plans for the collection system that the force main will connect to. <br /> <br />10 <br />
