<br />for submittal to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality ("TCEQ"). <br /> <br />1.3.10 Prepare and submit four sets of plans and technical specifications for the City's review and <br />comment at the 50% and 90% progress levels. The Engineer will submit review documents as full <br />size blueline drawings. The Engineer will incorporate review comments and prepare a revised set <br />of plans and specifications at each level. <br /> <br />1.3.11 Prepare an engineering letter report documenting investigations, recommendations, design <br />and opinion of probable construction cost, and estimated construction schedule and submit four draft <br />copies to the City and the required number of copies to the TCEQ for review and comment. <br /> <br />1.3.12 Incorporate City and TCEQ comments and finalize documents. <br /> <br />1.3.13 Submit four copies of the Final Engineering Letter Report to the City. <br /> <br />1.3.14 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents required for <br />the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. <br /> <br />1.3.15 Provide information to the City for the City's preparation of front end construction contract <br />documents and prepare technical specifications (combination of the City of Austin, the Engineer's <br />and applicable City specifications) based on the approved design development documents and any <br />further adjustments authorized by the City in the scope, quality or budget of the Project. These <br />contract documents will include detailed plans and technical specifications required for the Project <br />to be accurately bid and efficiently constructed. The Engineer will use its best professional judgment <br />to create documents that comply with applicable construction and development codes, local <br />regulations and ordinances and other federal and state regulations which are known or which should <br />reasonably be known to the Engineer. <br /> <br />1.3.16 Ensure that no reports, maps, or other documents produced in whole or in part under this <br />Agreement shall be the subject of an application for copyright by or on behalf of the Engineer. <br /> <br />1.4 PHASE 3 - BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />The Construction phase of this Project will commence with the award of the construction <br />contract and will terminate when the Project is accepted by the City. The Engineer will: <br /> <br />Bidding <br /> <br />1.4.1 Be responsible for the printing and binding of 25 sets of bid documents at no additional cost <br />to the City. <br /> <br />1.4.2 Assist the City in the distribution of the bid documents to prospective bidders and to plan <br />rooms and the issuance of up to one addendum (if any) following the City's prior approval. Actual <br />bid document distribution and maintenance of plan holder's list will be performed by the City. <br /> <br />5 <br />
