<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC RATE SCHEDULES <br /> <br />OUTDOOR AREA LIGHTING <br />Rate Schedule - OAL <br /> <br />Effective: February 1, 2003 <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos (the "City") shall charge and collect for outdoor area lighting service on the basis of this Rate <br />Schedule - OAL. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and the City of San Marcos Electric Utility Rules and Regulations <br />are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is available throughout the entire territory served by the San Marcos Electric Utility System (the "City <br />System"). <br /> <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> <br />This rate schedule is applicable to year-round private outdoor area security lighting service. Lighting fixtures and service <br />to be provided pursuant to this rate schedule shall be at locations that are easily and economically accessible to City <br />equipment and personnel for construction and maintenance. Lamps will be operated approximately 4,000 hours per year <br />per lamp from dusk to dawn as controlled by photo-electric controls. <br /> <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> <br />Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating current, 60 Hertz, single phase, at the City's option of the standard <br />voltages available from the City System. Resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule. <br /> <br />ONTHL Y RATE <br /> <br />175 Watt Mercury Vapor Lamp <br />Standard Fixture & Installation <br />Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to <br /> <br />$4.54 per fixture <br />70 kWh <br /> <br />100 Watt High Pressure Sodium Vapor Lamp <br />Standard Fixture & Installation <br />Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to <br /> <br />$3.50 per fixture <br />40 kWh <br /> <br />The amount computed at the MONTHLY RATE shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any <br />governmental authority which assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volumes of electricity purchased <br />or sold by the City. <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the stated charge per lamp and fixture and all applicable rate <br />adjustments. <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />The due dates, penalty dates, and disconnection dates for bills shall be linked to the Customers' billing cycles in <br />acco f II bl f d f h I <br /> <br />rdance with the 0 oWlnq ta eo ates or eac cyce: <br />Cycle # Billing Date Due Date and Penalty Date Disconnection Date <br />1 16m 3ra of the following month 14" of the following month <br />2 24m 11m of the following month 21s of the following month <br />3 1 st 18m of the same month 28m of the same month <br />4 8m 25m of the same month 4m of the following month <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\Electric Utility rate schedules- 11-02.doc <br />
