(An allowance of$21,050 is <br />budgeted for this item.) <br /> <br />1.5.4 Conduct 5 additional construction site visits. <br /> <br />1.5.5 Revise the construction drawings in accordance with the information furnished by <br />Construction Contractor reflecting changes in the Project made during construction. One set of <br />reproducible prints of "Record Drawings" shall be provided by the Engineer to the City. <br /> <br />1.5.6 Develop a testing protocol for the filters and review with TCEQ. <br /> <br />1.5.7 Assist the City and GBRA in performing filter backing and other field tests deemed necessary <br />to support the re-rating request. <br /> <br />1.5.8 Prepare detailed applications and supporting documents for government grants or loans, or <br />environmental and/or archeological surveys will be provided as Special Services, if required. <br /> <br />1.6 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />1.6.1 The City may direct the Engineer to perform services outside of the scope of the Basic <br />Services described in Sections 1.1 through 1.5 above. The Engineer will submit a written estimate <br />of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. <br /> <br />1.6.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Engineer must <br />be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 5.2 of this Agreement. The approval of the <br />City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds <br />$15,000. <br /> <br />1.6.3 Additional Services include but are not limited to, the following: <br /> <br />1. Prepare to serve or serve as an expert witness on behalf of the City in connection <br />with any public hearing or legal proceedings; <br />2. Perform outside of office services including shop, mill, field or laboratory inspection <br />of materials or equipment, not otherwise provided as Basic Services; <br />3. Perform subsurface excavation in the event such excavation is required to locate <br />existing facilities; <br />4. Provide any additional information required by the Texas Commission <br />Environmental Quality (TCEQ) formerly the Texas Natural Resource Conservation <br />Commission (TNRCC), the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB), or any lender <br />for approval of the Project or re-rating of the plant capacity; <br />5.
