<br />the construction contract after submission of final plans to City; <br />6. Provide additional full-size and/or half-size final plan sets and specifications for the <br />Project in excess of the number required under Task 2; <br />7. Provide site surveying; <br />8. Provide any other services otherwise excluded in this Agreement but customarily <br />furnished in accordance with generally accepted engineering practices. <br />9. Update the plant Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manual. <br />10. Conducting anyon-site field evaluations to confirm elevations, pipe sizes, etc. <br />11. Separating the Project into more than one construction project. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the Engineer's <br />services under this Agreement in the City's possession as needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's <br />request. <br /> <br />2.2 Designate Laurie Anderson as the City's Project Manager and authorized representative to <br />act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine the documents and <br />information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render responses to the Engineer on issues <br />requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter public and <br />private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this Agreement. <br /> <br />2.4 Provide available criteria and full information as to the City's requirements for the Project. <br /> <br />2.5 Assist the Engineer by placing at his disposal all available written data pertinent to the <br />Project. <br /> <br />2.6 Examine documents submitted by the Engineer and render a decision pertaining thereto <br />promptly, to avoid unreasonable delay in the progress of the Engineer's services. <br /> <br />2.5 Bear all costs incident to this Article. Furnish information required as expeditiously as <br />possible for the orderly progress of the work. <br /> <br />2.6 Be responsible for the cost of printing and binding of the bid documents. <br /> <br />2.7 Bear all costs incident to this Article, and the City will use its best efforts to appraise the <br />Engineer of any inaccuracies, or inconsistencies in the information provided. <br /> <br />AlanPlummer.wpd <br /> <br />10 <br />
