Licensee shall be n:spoDSl"le for <br />the construction, maintenance, and removal costs of'Licensee Facilities. 'Ucen$ee ,hall be <br />responsible for obtaining and paying for any utilities needed for its equipment from locsl utility <br />providers. <br /> <br />S. Additional LCRA Services upon Request. LiCCD8CC may request that LCRA provide <br />installation or maintetlBm;C services on Licensee's Facilities, including establishing splice points, <br />interfacing of patch panels for l:onnettion afLitcnsets Facilities to fiber optic cable, and t=ing. <br />LeRA will provide mimates or costs before work begin:s and obtain Licensee's approval before <br />proceeding with any work for Licensee's benefit. LeRA will provide itemized documentation as <br />the work is performed, and all cl1arges shaD be due and payable within thirty (30) days after <br />Lic:ensce', receipt ofLCRA's invoi". <br /> <br />6. Cable Fai1vre. LCRA shall respond to a failure> intenuption, or impairment in the operation <br />of the System within two (2l hours oftrouhle notification by Licensee. lftbe trouble appears to <br />be located in any ofLiccnsee's equipment or in the interfAce between Licensee's equipment and <br />the System. Licensee shall1ilmisb tC{;hnicians to work with LCRA personnel in locating the <br />trouble and clearing it. Repair times for cable shall be subject to the electrical clearances <br />provision of Paragraph 8 herein. <br /> <br />7. Security. Each party shall be responsible ror the ~urity ants own equipment. Neither pany <br />shall be liable to the other for burglary, vandalism, losses. or damage unless that party is aCtively <br />at fault. <br /> <br />8. EleetricaJ Clell1"lUV~. Maintenance and repair of tile System facilities may require dectrical <br />transmission clearances in which electric lines, buswork. and related equipment must be de- <br />energized. Reliability of electri~ 3eMcep meeting electrical demandp and p~C5onnel safety shall be <br />paramount; clearance times shall be coordinated to accommodate tbese needs and will usually be <br />scheduled during off-peak time$. LeIlA shall use its best efforts/to expedite the cleanlnces for <br />work: on the cable.
