<br />1.3.2 Coordinate the integration of design, surveying, right of way issues, traffic control, utility <br />engineering, ADA compliance, permitting, and other services as previously approved. All <br />submittals will utilize City of San Marcos specifications and standards. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Upon the City's approval of the preliminary engineering report, finalize design documents <br />to include final refinement of the sidewalk design plans, environmental protection, traffic control (if <br />needed), and all construction details required to complete the Project. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Design handicapped ramps on all intersections and construct transitions on all driveways. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Prepare easement documents (field notes and accompanying survey drawings) for a <br />maximum of 10 easements. Preparation of easement documents in excess of 10 will be provided as <br />an additional service. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Assist the City with the preparation of front-end construction contract documents, using <br />forms supplied by the City, based on the approved preliminary design documents and any further <br />adjustments authorized by the City in the scope, quality or budget of the Project. Prepare bid <br />tabulation forms and technical specifications using City of San Marcos standards. These contract <br />documents will include detailed plans and technical specifications required for the Project to be <br />accurately bid and efficiently constructed. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Use its best professional judgment to create documents that comply with applicable <br />construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other federal and state <br />regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the Consultant including <br />those required under the ADA and Article 9102, V.A.C.S., Architectural Barriers Act, as amended. <br />The Consultant will be responsible for the submission of all plans and specifications for the <br />construction of this Project to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for review and <br />approval prior to the time construction is set to begin in conformance with the Architectural <br />Barriers Act. The costs associated with the submission of plans for review under the Architectural <br />Barriers Act will be paid by the City. <br /> <br />1.3.8 Assist the City in the coordination of the Project with the Texas Department of Licensing <br />and Regulation. <br /> <br />1.3.9 Ensure that no reports, maps, or other documents produced in whole or in part under this <br />Agreement shall be the subject of an application for copyright by or on behalf of the Consultant. <br /> <br />1.3.10 Coordinate with City for a ten day call to confirm prevailing wage decision issued by HUD. <br />City will provide wage rates when requested. <br /> <br />1.3.11 Obtain approval from the appropriate City inspectors for all technical plans and <br />specifications necessary for successful completion of the Project prior to allowing the construction <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />NEIGHBOR2002 <br />
