<br />1.2.10 Locate traffic signals and light poles. <br /> <br />1.2.11 Locate signs, fences, mailboxes, bus stop poles and shelters, and ramps. <br /> <br />1.2.12 Locate retaining walls, and provide ground and top of wall elevations. <br /> <br />1.2.13 Locate all trees of 6- inch caliper or larger diameter and ornamentals up to 25 feet outside of <br />the right-of-way line. <br /> <br />1.2.14 Provide an assessment of the Project area to evaluate compliance with the Americans with <br />Disabilities Act ("ADA"). Evaluate existing obstructions and the placement of new ramps and <br />walks to comply with the ADA. <br /> <br />1.2.15 Prepare a written preliminary engineering report to include preliminary plans, applicable <br />construction details, a proposed construction sequence schedule and a preliminary construction <br />cost estimate for the Project. These recommendations will be submitted to the City for review and <br />approval. The Consultant will work with the City as necessary to adjust the scope of work to fit the <br />City's budget and priorities. <br /> <br />1.2.16 Attend a maximum of two public information meetings with the affected <br />neighborhoods/homeowners along the Project area. <br /> <br />1.2.17 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the Consultant's <br />representatives. The Consultant will meet with the Project team to set the design and production <br />schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the components within which all Project <br />participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlines involved in the <br />comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this information, the Consultant will prepare a detailed <br />schedule of its work for the Project addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating <br />the points of involvement of all Project participants. The Consultant will conduct weekly progress <br />meetings between the Project team and the Contractor once the construction contract is executed. <br /> <br />1.2.18 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents required for <br />the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project in addition to the <br />Consultant's responsibility for ADA review as specified in Section 1.3.7 of this Agreement. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - FINAL DESIGN <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Meet with the City's Project Manager periodically or as needed to update the City on the <br />progress of work. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />NEIGHB0R2002 <br />
