<br />1.2.9 Locate visible gas valves, electric/traffic pullboxes, electric telephone manholes, and <br />utility poles and guys, and other visible surface and overhead evidence of utilities. <br />1.2.10 Locate traffic signals and light poles. <br /> <br />1.2.11 Locate signs, fences, mailboxes, bus stop poles and shelters, and ramps. <br /> <br />1.2.12 Locate retaining walls, and provide ground and top of wall elevations. <br /> <br />1.2.13 Locate all trees and ornamentals up to 25 feet outside of the right-of-way line. <br /> <br />1.2.14 Provide an assessment of the Project area to evaluate compliance with the <br />Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA"). Evaluate existing obstructions and the placement <br />of new ramps and walks to comply with the ADA. <br /> <br />1.2.15 Prepare a written preliminary engineering report to include preliminary plans, <br />applicable construction details, a preliminary construction cost estimate for the Project, as <br />well as a proposed construction sequence schedule, and phasing and permitting <br />requirements. These recommendations will be submitted to the City for review and <br />approval. The Consultant will work with the City as necessary to adjust the scope of work <br />to fit the City's budget and priorities. <br /> <br />1.2.16 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the <br />Consultant's representatives. The Consultant will meet with the Project team to set the <br />design and production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the <br />components within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties <br />and significant deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this <br />information, the Consultant will prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project <br />addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement <br />of all Project participants. The Consultant will conduct weekly progress meetings between <br />the Project team and the Contractor once the construction contract is executed. <br /> <br />1.2.17 Assist the City in connection with the City's responsibility for filing documents <br />required for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project <br />in addition to the Consultant's responsibility for ADA review as specified in Section 1.3.7 <br />of this Agreement. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - FINAL DESIGN <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Meet with the City's Project Manager periodically or as needed to update the City <br />on the progress of work. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Attend pre-design and post-design neighborhood sidewalk meetings. <br /> <br />3 <br />
