<br />1.3.3 Coordinate the integration of design, surveying, right of way issues, traffic control, <br />utility engineering, ADA compliance, permitting, and other services as previously approved. <br />All submittals will utilize City of San Marcos specifications and standards. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Upon the City's approval of the preliminary engineering report, finalize design <br />documents to include final refinement of the sidewalk design plans, environmental <br />protection, traffic control (if needed), and all construction details required to complete the <br />Project. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Design handicapped ramps on all intersections and construct transitions on all <br />driveways. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Assist the City with the preparation of front end construction contract documents, <br />using forms supplied by the City, based on the approved preliminary design documents <br />and any further adjustments authorized by the City in the scope, quality or budget of the <br />Project. Prepare bid tabulation forms and technical specifications using City of San Marcos <br />standards. These contract documents will include detailed plans and technical <br />specifications required for the Project to be accurately bid and efficiently constructed. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Use its best professional judgment to create documents that comply with applicable <br />construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other federal <br />and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the <br />Consultant including those required under the ADA and Article 9102, V.A.C.S., <br />Architectural Barriers Act, as amended. The Consultant will be responsible for the <br />submission of all plans and specifications for the construction of this Project to the Texas <br />Department of Licensing and Regulation for review and approval prior to the time <br />construction is set to begin in conformance with the Architectural Barriers Act. The costs <br />associated with the submission of plans for review under the Architectural Barriers Act will <br />be paid by the City. <br /> <br />1.3.8 Assist the City in the coordination of the Project with the Texas Department of <br />Transportation and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. <br /> <br />1.3.9 Prepare an environmental assessment of the Project in accordance with Exhibit A <br />of this Agreement to ensure that there is no impact to the environment. <br /> <br />1.3.10 Ensure that no reports, maps, or other documents produced in whole or in part <br />under this Agreement shall be the subject of an application for copyright by or on behalf <br />of the Consultant. <br /> <br />1.3.11 Coordinate with City for a ten day call to confirm prevailing wage decision issued <br />by HUD. City will provide wage rates when requested. <br /> <br />1.3.12 Obtain approval from the appropriate City inspectors for all technical plans and <br />specifications necessary for successful completion of the Project prior to allowing the <br /> <br />4 <br />
