<br />work or services subcontracted under this Agreement shall be specified by separate <br />written Agreement and shall be subject to each provision of this Agreement. Any <br />provisions in this Agreement pertaining to the City's review, approval and/or acceptance <br />of written materials prepared by Consultant and/or its sub-consultants, contractors, and <br />subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not diminish Consultant's <br />responsibility for the materials. <br /> <br />1.1.4 Consultant will perform all of its services in coordination with the City, CAPCO and <br />the TNRCC. The Consultant will advise the City of data and information the Consultant <br />needs to perform its services, and the Consultant will meet with City representatives at <br />mutually convenient times to assemble this data and information. <br /> <br />1.2 Task 1- Identify Collection Event Participants <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Conduct presentations for each Participating Community regarding hazardous <br />household waste collection. <br /> <br />1.2.2 Conduct presentations for neighboring communities to encourage <br />co-sponsorship. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Obtain financial commitments from the Participating Communities and their <br />neighboring communities for disposal costs. <br /> <br />1.2.4 Prepare interlocal agreements in coordination with the City for execution with <br />interested communities for participation in the hazardous household waste collection <br />program. <br /> <br />1.3 Task 2 - Recruit Sponsors <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Meet with community leaders in each Participating Community concerning <br />potential sponsors for the disposal costs. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Contact the Chambers of Commerce in each Participating Community for a list of <br />businesses in the community. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Send mail-outs to local businesses requesting sponsorship for the hazardous <br />household waste collection program. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Conduct presentations for local business groups. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Meet with potential sponsors. <br /> <br />2 <br />
