<br />1.1.6 Engineer will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engineer <br />will advise the City of data and information the Engineer needs to perform its services, and <br />the Engineer will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble <br />this data and information. <br /> <br />1.1.7 The Engineer will assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives <br />and the Engineer's representatives. The Engineer will meet with the Project team to set <br />the design and production schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the <br />components within which all Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties <br />and significant deadlines involved in the comprehensive schedule strategy. Based on this <br />information, the Engineer will prepare a detailed schedule of its work for the Project <br />addressing each component of the work to be done, indicating the points of involvement <br />of all project participants. The Engineer will conduct monthly progress meetings between <br />the Project team and the Contractor once the construction contract is executed. The <br />Engineer will head the Project team and coordinate the integration of design, surveying, <br />right of way issues, traffic control, utility Engineering, permitting and other services as <br />approved. <br /> <br />1.2 TASK 1- SURVEYING <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Control Survey: Establish horizontal and vertical control using global positioning <br />system (GPS) equipment, tie into key points ofthe right-of-way for orientation, and analyze <br />and adjust the control for the design survey. <br /> <br />1.2.2 Design Survey: Field tie street cross sections at 50 foot intervals either the width of <br />the road or 30 feet wide (whichever is greater) along the alignment for approximately 4,600 <br />linear feet. Engineer will also tie the rim and flowline elevations of approximately 21 <br />manholes and locate visible and accessible utilities within the survey limits. This <br />information will be downloaded by the Engineer and a base map and digital terrain model <br />(DTM) will be prepared by the Engineer. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Investigate issues that impact the environmental quality of the subject area. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Investigate the regulation of discharge of dredge and/orfill material into jurisdictional <br />waters of the United States under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Conduct a threatened and endangered species investigation to determine the <br />presence of any species located within the subject area. <br /> <br />2 <br />
